Registrar Update 8/12/19

Good Morning!  Just a quick update today –

Birth certificates – I spent my weekend verifying birth certificates and there are still some that need to be corrected.  Please look at your teams today.  If you see that most players are approved, but there are a few stragglers, it probably means that we couldn’t approve those stragglers.  

- Carefully check to be sure the first and last name match the proof of birth.  If the player uses his middle name, it is okay to list both given names with no parenthesis.  * If you need to correct the name, EPYSA recommends that you update the association ID first.  If you don’t, the proof of birth will need to be re-uploaded*

- Do not use nicknames or initials.

- Do not include Jr. or III.

- Be sure the birth date is correct.

- Check to be sure it is an acceptable document (hospital certificates are not acceptable).

- Be sure it is large enough to read without needing to enlarge, which makes it blurry.

- After making corrections, please check to be sure the proof of birth is still uploaded.

Rosters – The most amazing thing just happened today.  I tried to print a roster and it worked!!!  This makes us so happy.  We no longer need you to send us rosters.  

Passes – FYI - When we print passes for your team, a pass also prints for the team manager (if their dots are all green).  The pass will say “Coach”.   We are also now able to print individual passes.

Coaches – If you add or change a coach after we’ve approved your team, you will need to send an email to registrar@cpysl.net to let us know.  In the past we received an automated email when a coach was added, but we don’t get that anymore.

Player changes after team approval – As in the past, you are required to send the Player Change Request Form with any changes to your roster after the initial approval.   Please note that the fee for a duplicate pass has gone up to $10.00.  Keep track of your passes! http://www.cpysl.net/Downloads/downloadfolder/dwld_52032108_PLAYER_CHANGE_REQUEST_REV_6-20-18.pdf
